The 2014-15 DeKalb County Holiday Basketball Tournament opens at 10 am on
Saturday with Arabia Mountain High School playing host to the three-day
event (Dec. 20, 22-23).
Rockdale County (5-4) and McNair (1-8) girls debut as the tournament’s
opening game with the Rockdale (4-4) and McNair (2-7) follows at 11:30 am.
Druid Hills (2-7) and Chamblee (2-5) girls and Druid Hills (4-6) and
Chamblee (3-7) boys start the next round of games on the day at 1:00 pm
and 2:30 pm.

The evening session on Saturday opens with Columbia (5-4) and Martin
Luther King Jr. (0-7) girls at 4:00 pm followed by the Redan (3-5) and
Martin Luther King Jr. (7-1) boys at 5:30 pm.
The Lakeside (4-5) and Arabia Mountain (4-3) girls meet at 7:00 pm with
the Lakeside (4-4) and Stone Mountain (6-1) boys hitting the court at 8:30
pm to finish the opening round of action.
Play resumes on Monday (Dec. 22) at 10:00 am with another full slate of
consolation and winners’ bracket games running through 8:30 pm starts.
The final day of play on Tuesday (Dec. 23) also starts at 10:00 am with
seventh place games and wraps up with the 8:30 pm boys’ championship
game.
